As we all know, there is no one solution to stamping out hunger and poverty. Instead, there must be an ongoing effort across disciplines - individual and organized - that includes both money and action.
To everyone who participated in WHY’s 2008 Hungerthon campaign fundraising efforts, THANK YOU. Together, we raised $550,000. You helped to make a difference in the lives of the 35.5 million Americans and the 862 million people worldwide for whom hunger is an everyday reality.
