WhyHunger Announces 2019-2020 Board of Directors
New Members Join from A+E Networks, butterflyone, Facebook, Greenberg Traurig and New York State NAACP
New York (September 26, 2019)– WhyHunger— a leader in the movement to end hunger and advance the human right to nutritious food in the U.S. and around the world – today welcomed five new members to its 2019-2020 Board of Directors.
Joining the Board are Amy Baker, Executive Vice President, Client Strategy and Insights, A+E Networks; Fred Beteille, Head of Product, Music & Rights, Facebook; Diane Blagman, Senior Director of Governmental Affairs, Greenberg Traurig; Geoffrey Eaton, First Vice President of the NAACP New York State Conference; and Patrick Sullivan, CEO, butterflyone.
In their capacity as Board members, each serves a critical role in the strategic vision and development of WhyHunger and its mission. Drawn to the organization through different pathways, each member is committed to WhyHunger’s programmatic focus of strengthening grassroots-led movements for food justice and food sovereignty worldwide, while working to change the systems, policies and institutions that perpetuate hunger and poverty.
