On Saturday\, September 24th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM we will head out to WhyHunger friend and partner Added Value Farms for two hours of fun and farmwork. Added Value Farms is a youth-led urban farming and compost operation in Red Hook\, Brooklyn. Come dressed for the weather and ready to get dirty! \nWhere: Added Value Farm\, 580 Columbia Street\, Brooklyn NY 11231. Directions here! \nWhen: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM\, Saturday\, September 24th. \nCost: Bring a suggested $5 donation (goes directly to the Added Value materials) which WhyHunger will match.
