For those compelled to honor our special day with a gift, we ask that you consider a donation to WhyHunger. As is commonly said, “Your presence is present enough”, but realistically we understand many of our friends and family will want to support us during this milestone in our lives.

Why a charity? In so many ways, we are lucky in life. We are surrounded by the love and support of our family and friends, our small business is thriving, and we are fortunate enough to have a home full of everything we need. While it’s tradition in the US to provide a gift registry, to make gift giving easy for friends and family, it’s not as common in Ireland and we honestly have all the gadgets our hearts desire. We weighed our options and quickly decided we wanted to take this special time in our life, a time where we already have so much and feel so loved, to share with others.

As many of you know, Keely spent years partnering with WhyHunger, an organization that focuses on sustainable, grassroots-based solutions to hunger for partners worldwide. She’s visited groups in Panama, the Dominican Republic, India, Arizona, and more, learning first-hand about various cultures and their simple desire to provide for their communities. Those trips were life-changing and something she’s always dreamed she’d be able to share with Damien.

WhyHunger created this custom registry page with that in mind - so we could support them together. This custom first-of-its-kind page is allowing 100% of each donation to go directly to a WhyHunger partner. Your donations will be delivered on our behalf, in honor of our special day and will be 100% tax deductible. Additionally, we have been invited to visit one of these partners, spending time with the organization, and sharing your love and donations. The trip will be funded entirely by us, so we can insure your support goes untouched.

Being surrounded by the love of our family and friends during this time is indescribable. We feel so loved. It’s our hope that we can so much as mirror that love and support for WhyHunger. We promise to pass on your well wishes and share our experiences when we return!
