Thank you for an incredible night!

We had a full house at Edison Ballroom with 300 people in attendance and the room was absolutely buzzing with the power of food, music, and grassroots innovation to bring about big change!

Thank you for coming out to celebrate WhyHunger, the achievements of our grassroots partner Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger, and the music and humanitarian work of Jon Batiste. Thank you for listening, laughing, singing, and learning with us on Tuesday night. Above all, thank you for investing in us. We are so grateful for your incredible generosity and to QuestLove and Jon Batiste who surprised us all by donating their skills and instruments to bump us over the edge.

As our Executive Director, Noreen said, “Our movement to end hunger is alive! WhyHunger works to fuel its growth by building bridges and alliances where there are none, by investing in proven ideas, and by knitting together local action into big and lasting change. Together, we have the power to make that vision of a world free from hunger a reality.” From food pantries in Bed-Stuy, to small farms in Brazil, to the stage of The Late Show, WhyHunger is fostering a movement to end hunger.
