Join us to celebrate International Women’s Day and the launch of WhyHunger’s newest publication, Through Her Eyes: The Struggle for Food Sovereignty. Featuring a series of dialogues between women organizers, farmers and farmworkers, Through Her Eyes lifts up the stories of 13 incredible women from the U.S. and the Global South who are fighting for food sovereignty in the face of industrial agriculture and bringing just and sustainable food to their communities. This event will feature a panel of women from the publication moderated by Karen Washington.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. Space is limited so please register below.

When: Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM

Location: GrowNYC's Project Farmhouse, 76 E 13th St, New York, NY 10003. At the corner of 13th St and 4th Ave, two blocks away from the 14th Street - Union Square Station.
