YP Added Value final

NOTE: Cancelled due to scheduling conflicts, check in later for more info!

Get into the spirit of autumn by joining whYP as they compost, pull weeds, and harvest crops! On Saturday, September 24th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM we will head out to WhyHunger friend and partner Added Value Farms for two hours of fun and farmwork. Added Value Farms is a youth-led urban farming and compost operation in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Come dressed for the weather and ready to get dirty!

Where: Added Value Farm, 580 Columbia Street, Brooklyn NY 11231. Directions here!

When: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Saturday, September 24th. 

Cost: Bring a suggested $5 donation (goes directly to the Added Value materials) which WhyHunger will match.
