Levante Popular de Juventude (Youth Popular Uprising) is a Brazilian social movement, founded in 2012, that organizes students and young people in urban and rural areas across Brazil to engage in the struggle for social transformation.
Join us on Thursday, October 17 for delicious food, music and a cross-cultural conversation and Q & A with three organizers from Levante, NYC, and other grassroots movements. The event will be held at the People Forum (320 West 37th Street, New York, NY) Free admission! This event is being held in collaboration with the People Forum.
