Are you looking for an easy and creative way to support WhyHunger this month?  Why not sharpen your pencils and start drafting an original poem about our work? 

Throughout the month of March, WhyHunger is asking its talented supporters to get their creative juices flowing and describe our commitment to fighting hunger and poverty in the US and around the world through a Haiku, Limerick, Sonnet or other 4-8 line poem.  We will choose our favorite poem and submit it to the CTK Foundation’s Heart & Soul awards program where it will be judged by an international panel of independent artists and producers.  If it wins, WhyHunger will receive $10,000!  Even more exciting, your poem will serve as the inspiration for a new song by recording artist Bill Dillon!

 All entries must be received by Friday, March 25th.

If WhyHunger chooses your poem for submission to the CTK Foundation, you’ll win a limited edition WhyHunger prize pack of t-shirts, pins and CDs!  Finally… your high school English class is paying off!
