Join us to celebrate International Women’s Day and the launch of WhyHunger’s newest publication, Through Her Eyes: The Struggle for Food Sovereignty. Featuring a series of dialogues between women organizers, farmers and farmworkers, Through Her Eyes lifts up the stories of 13 incredible women from the U.S. and the Global South who are fighting for food sovereignty in the face of industrial agriculture and bringing just and sustainable food to their communities. This event will feature a panel of women from the publication moderated by Karen Washington.
