IMAGINE THERE’S NO HUNGER

WhyHunger joined forces with Hard Rock International and Yoko Ono Lennon to create “Imagine There’s No Hunger,” a global campaign to fight childhood hunger and poverty. Now in its seventh year, “Imagine” includes limited edition merchandise, food drives, live music events, and other fundraising efforts. Imagine has raised over $6.8 million to fight childhood hunger and helped communities in 31 countries grow enough food to provide over 9.8 million nutritious meals. This campaign works for solutions to hunger, helping nearly 50,000 families learn farming techniques that produce healthier food and meet their daily needs so they never go hungry again.

PHILOSOPHY & TO BELIEVE

WhyHunger partnered with philosophy, the well being beauty brand, and singer Jackie Evancho to inspire people to give back with to believe cranberry currant shower gel. This product features original Jackie Evancho lyrics, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting WhyHunger. This partnership represents WhyHunger’s expertise in bringing together community-minded celebrities and philanthropic companies to create unique products that raise funds and awareness to end hunger.

“philosophy’s partnership with WhyHunger has inspired our team to fight hunger through creative marketing and fundraising initiatives and to get involved on the frontlines in our own community…the success of our to believe charity shower gel with Jackie Evancho raised awareness and funds for WhyHunger’s important work…and gave our passionate customers the power to make a difference. We are proud to call WhyHunger a partner and know that by supporting their work, we are all moving one step closer to a world without hunger and poverty.” – Liz Garrett, President of philosophy

KENWOOD VINEYARDS

In 2014, WhyHunger partnered with Kenwood Vineyards for a special holiday promotion to fight hunger. Kenwood Vineyards made a donation to WhyHunger for every bottle of Kenwood wine sold throughout November and December up to $25,000. Kenwood Vineyards also invited its customers to create “virtual meals” online using a dedicated fundraising site and to donate the equivalent funds to WhyHunger.

Families shouldn’t have to choose between buying food and putting money towards other household necessities yet many face that trade-off every day. We are excited to be teaming up with WhyHunger to implement fundraising initiatives geared towards supporting those across the country who are food insecure in order to have a more comfortable holiday season.” – Meghan Murray, Senior Brand Manager, Kenwood Vineyards
