Yesterday saw the release of two excellent new resources from our partners, both aiming to bust common myths about the food system. Check them out and share widely!
Food MythBusters, from Anna LappĂ©, Corporate Accountability International and other partners addresses the question, “do we really need industrial agriculture to feed the world?” Short answer: a resounding no. They’ve created an engaging short film that tells you why.
And from Food Chain Workers Alliance comes a new report demonstrating the impact of a minimum wage increase on consumer food prices. Short answer there? A dime a day. Read all about it in “A Dime a Day: The Impact of the Miller/Harkin Minimum Wage Proposal on the Price of Food.”
