What Americans Really Eat!

The Atlantic looks to explain how much corn syrup, meat and fat the average American is consuming yearly

The average American is eating almost 110 pounds of red meat and another 85 pounds of fat and oils yearly. Along with 42 pounds of corn syrup in an average year, which equals 3,865 teaspoons, almost 2 times the recommended daily amount for women and 1.5 times the recommended daily amount for men.
