WhyHunger is looking for a full-time Development Director to oversee all fundraising initiatives and join our team here in New York City.

 

The right candidate will have the drive and leadership to meet our current income projections, and the vision to strategically grow our funder base. WhyHunger brings a long history of partnerships with grassroots organizations, individual supporters, celebrity ambassadors, corporations, and foundations and expects that the development director will engage with those partners and deepen those relationships in an effort to raise funds. We are seeking a candidate with a demonstrated track record of both traditional and creative fundraising success who thrives when given the space and support to run a development department rooted in innovation. Interested candidates must be committed to a systemic approach to ending hunger rooted in social justice and grassroots solutions and value the relationship between fundraising and programmatic work.
