Something to offer

On Wednesday, we told you about CONAMUCA, the 10,000-member Confederation of Rural Women, who has led the fight for land rights, gender equality and food sovereignty in the Dominican Republic for three decades. WhyHunger works with CONAMUCA and 25 other groups around the world through the “Imagine There’s No Hunger” campaign in partnership with Hard Rock and Yoko Ono. The campaign supports grassroots organizations using sustainable agriculture and long-term solutions to ensure that children have access to nutritious food today and for the rest of their lives.

In Kenya, we partner with Common Ground for Africa, who has shared this: “My partnership with WhyHunger through ‘Imagine’ enhances our work by giving hope to many children and families in rural Kenya. Everyone has something to offer regardless of their situation, age, gender or race.”
